Why don't they induce comas in prisoners when we get booked into jail? As Green Day would say, Wake Me Up When September, er, Sentence Ends!

Hahaha I just got out of county and I was saying This exact thing to everyone, why not put us in comas! But they wouldn't do that, nobody would ever care about going to jail cuz it would be like going to sleep and waking up. Too easy. The whole point is to have a terrible experience. But god that would've been nice. The worst thing is the boredom. Just terrible
