Looks like soon fast food places won't be the only ones with self-serve drink machines. There's a system called iPourIt being developed for pouring yourself beer or wine at bars. First, patrons get an RFID wristband after an employee scans their license and credit card. Then you pour yourself an adult beverage from the special taps. The machine detects your wristband and charges your account for the exact amount dispensed. No more waiting forever for your drinks at a bar. Plus it keeps track of your favorite beers online for you to rate and you can order pints ahead of time.
